Just Cuts New Zealand were proud to officially launch its partnership with Dress for Success at an event to mark International Women's Day on 8 March 2020. The launch will was hosted at 11 am on Sunday 8 March at The Hub, outside Just Cuts.

Dress for Success Clients will now be able to redeem their Style Cut for just $20 (normally $32) when presenting the partnership voucher at any Just Cuts in New Zealand.

"Just Cuts Hornby is proud to have been responsible for this initiative, which we are rolling out Nationwide in New Zealand. A great Style Cut is SO important for self-esteem and confidence, and this voucher for Dress for Success clients will be the icing on the cake, or should I say, their crowning glory!" said Angela Turner, Franchise Owner of Just Cuts, The Hub.

The event organised by The Hub Hornby shopping centre who has also teamed up with Dress for Success will see quality lightly worn clothing and accessories donated to help women enter the workforce.  Specially sign written lockers will be situated in participating retailers. Customers can bring in items to deposit directly into the locker with the additional option of including an inspirational note for the recipient.

Centre Manager, Jason Marsden says "Fashion recycling is a big topic at the moment, and we wanted to provide a mechanism that all retailers could access. Dress for Success is a fantastic organisation with an inspiring group of women and positive culture, we are just thrilled to be able to partner them with this initiative.  All women have clothing items that they have purchased and loved at the time but don't wear for whatever reason. They may feel the items are too good to go into the goodwill bin or direct to the rag industry, this is an opportunity for them to donate them in-store and know that they will go to someone who loves them as much as they did when they first purchased the item.  The inspirational note will give an additional boost to the recipient, create a personal connection between the donor and recipient even though they will never meet.  Stores will also be able to donate the unsold stock directly into the locker, thus saving the environmental impact of return transport etc."

The launch occured on Sunday 8 March at The Hub, outside Just Cuts and was attended by Ginny Rhodes, Executive Manager of Dress for Success, Vicki McMillan, stylist to The Hub, and Cindy Baker, Client Ambassador for Dress for Success.
