With NSW’s long lockdown ending Sunday 10 October, all 79 Just Cuts NSW salons will reopen on Monday 11 October 2021, and Just Cuts Stylists stand ready to give Clients the perfect spring Style to rock for reopening living.

As the weather turns warmer, Just Cuts Stylists will focus on delivering the spring Style Cuts that give Clients the best looking locks for every post lockdown occasion, from dates to parties and catchups.

While Just Cuts salons remain no appointments, just walk in, there are no post lockdown lines to the hairdresser with the Just Cuts app, as Clients can reserve a spot in the salon queue from 15km away. Clients will receive a text when next in line and can simply head to the salon when it’s their turn.

Once Clients download the app and check in at their closest salon they can also view the wait time.

Just Cuts CEO Amber Manning is pleased NSW is reopening before the peak retail trading period.

“Based on data from previous reopenings plus the fact we know how desperate Sydney is to return to salons we know there’ll be a sustained spike in Client numbers once salons reopen,” said Amber.

“To make your post-lockdown trip to your local Stylist simple, download the Just Cuts app now before lockdown ends so you can check-in remotely ASAP on the day you want to visit.”

“When you download the app and sign up, you’ll earn rewards points towards vouchers to spend in our salons. As we prepare for party season and Melbourne Cup there’s plenty of points to earn.”

“Remember, you need to be within 15km of a salon to Check-In online, and you can only check-in when your nearest salon is open, so you won’t be able to check in to a salon until reopening day.”

Just Cuts Senior Stylist Josh Barnett says spring styles will celebrate longer hair and freedom.

“The shag cut will be big this season,” said Josh. “It’s a flexible Style Cut that can be worked with any hair density and texture, creating a fuller look on fine hair and removing weight on thicker hair.”

“The layers through the mid-lengths and ends are easy to style into waves, flicks or curls. In warmer months like spring we create softer looks and the shag cut is the ideal style to showcase this.”

“For men, locks are longer post lockdown, so quiffs are higher, and I expect showing off the shaggy mullet look is going to remain an extremely popular Client choice in men’s styling this spring.”

Josh says the first trip to the salon post lockdown is the perfect time to experiment with a new style.

“New hair gives you a new lease on life – it boosts confidence and release endorphins,” said Josh.

“Hairstyles are emotional, so before you jump in the deep end, think about your lifestyle. Do you need to tie your hair up? How much time can you spend styling your hair? Do you use products and would you invest in them to help support the Style Cut? How often can you visit the salon?”
“These questions help your Just Cuts Stylist help you choose high or low maintenance hair. Your choice of Style Cut should always suit you, your personality and your new post-lockdown lifestyle.”
