Media Release 6 June 2025

Just Cuts Shepparton is marking 27 years of Style Cuts for the community with the launch of their brand-new look Salon located just around the corner from BIG W at Shepparton Marketplace.

The new-look space will officially open its doors on Thursday, 12 June at 9am. The opening marks a major transformation, as Just Cuts Shepparton upgrades to the brand’s sleek and contemporary Salon design, bringing a fresh energy to the local hairdressing scene.

Originally opened in November 1998, the Shepparton Salon has been a staple of the local community for nearly three decades.

To mark the milestone and opening of the new look Salon, Just Cuts Shepparton will be treating locals to some exciting offers:

  • Free Goodie Bags for the first 50 Clients through the doors on Grand Opening day
  • Enter to win a Just Cuts Family Haircare Hamper with any in-salon purchase

Salon Owners Renee Gurnick and Peta Green are looking forward to welcoming Clients to the new space.

“We’re incredibly proud to have served the Shepparton community since 1998, and this refurbishment marks an exciting new chapter for our salon,” says Renee.

“So much has changed in the past 27 years, but what’s stayed constant is the loyalty of our amazing Clients and the passion of our Stylists. We have been operating out of a pop up Salon in front of Big W which will close end of  day on Sunday  8th June ahead of the new Salon opening on Thursday 12th June.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome both longtime and new Clients to celebrate the opening of our new Salon with us. Whether you’re due for a trim, a fresh new look, or just need a quick post-shopping refresh - there’s never been a better time to visit Just Cuts Shepparton,” adds Peta.

Just Cuts specialises in Style Cuts for everyone - men, women and children of all ages - at an affordable price and with no appointments necessary. Clients can also download the Just Cuts App to view real-time wait times, Check-In online, and earn loyalty rewards.

The Shepparton team is recruiting qualified Stylists to join their expanding salon network.

The new Just Cuts Shepparton Salon will open its doors on Thursday,  12th June at 9am

More about Just Cuts:
Just for you. Since 1982.

In 1982, Denis McFadden had to wait three months to vacate a lease he no longer needed, as he had already moved his Sydney salon business. To keep things simple, he decided to hold a promotion offering a “no-appointment” $7 Style Cut for all Clients.

The response was outstanding, and that day marked the moment the Just Cuts brand was born.

Just Cuts is an Australian hairdressing franchise that bridges the gap between a barber and a high-end hair salon. With Salons in every state of Australia, on both the North and South Islands of New Zealand and within the United Kingdom, it is the largest hairdressing company from the Southern Hemisphere.

Based on a fixed-price, no-appointment system, Just Cuts offers Clients affordable haircuts from fully qualified hairdressers and performs over 100,000 Style Cuts per week across the globe.
