Just Cuts™ are proud to once again support the Royal Flying Doctor Service's Outback Car Trek, held from 3-9 June 2012. Each year, participants travel through some of Australia's most remote and isolated regions while raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Since its inception in 1989, the annual fundraising event has raised in excess of $19 million, with Just Cuts™ providing more than $300,000 in donations since 1998. Before beginning their week-long odyssey across the country, participants join the annual CUT-A-RAMA event hosted by the Just Cuts™ team. Stylists shape, shave, colour and cut hair in every way imaginable, raising funds for the charity and giving participants a taste of the adventure they will enjoy on the Outback Car Trek. The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides both everyday essential healthcare and 24-hour emergency aeromedical services to people who would otherwise have no or limited access to services such as GP clinics, mental health, Indigenous health, health promotion, women's health and other allied health services in rural and regional areas of Australia. In the past Just Cuts™ Franchising has raised funds for the Sydney Children's Hospital, Leukaemia Foundation-Shave for a Cure and SANE Australia.
