Just Cuts have recently launched our exciting new iPhone application and we are delighted at the new opportunities it gives us to engage in a social media forum and on line more broadly. The recent Just Cuts iphone application competition has lead to some new and unforeseen challenges. It has been brought to our attention that various entrants utilize vote exchange websites and obtain votes utilizing fake or self generated user profiles, this is at odds with a fair competitive spirit which is important to all we do at Just Cuts. In the interest of protecting the fairness of the competition for valid entries any entrant associated with a vote exchange website or that obtained ‘likes’ using what reasonably appear to be fake self generated profiles have been disqualified. We are saddened that this course of action has been necessary and will make changes to the structure of competitions in the future to avoid this problem occurring again.
