How to Enter

To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase a full price Style Cuts™ Cut from any participating Just Cuts salon in Australia between Monday 8 March 2010 and close of business on Wednesday 31 March 2010.

To enter, eligible individuals must then visit www.justcuts.com, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including their personal details and purchase receipt number from the qualifying purchase, and submit the fully completed entry form before 11.59pm AEST on 31 March 2010.

Terms and Conditions

  • Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  • The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  • Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
  • Only one entry permitted per person.
  • Entrants must retain their original Just Cuts Salon purchase receipt(s) for their entry as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant's entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. All purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry. The original Just Cuts Salon purchase receipt(s) will need to be presented by the winner upon collection of the prize.
  • If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  • Promotion commences on Monday 8 March 2010 and ends at close of business on Wednesday 31 March 2010. Entries close 11.59pm AEST on Wednesday 31 March 2010.
  • The draw will take place electronically (except for South Australian salons) on 1 April 2010 at 12.01am at T-Bone Productions, Studio 402, 45 Lime Street King Street Warf Sydney NSW 2000. The draw for South Australian salons (7 in total) will take place manually at 8.00am on 1 April 2010 at T-Bone Productions, Studio 402, 45 Lime Street King Street Warf Sydney NSW 2000.
  • Winners will be notified:
  • by telephone after 9.00 am on 1 April 2010 (for those entrants who have only provided a telephone number): and\or
  • by email on 1 April 2010 (for those entrants who have provided an email address); and
  • in writing after 9.00 am on 1 April 2010 (for South Australian winners only).
  • In addition to the above, Winners will be published in The Australian newspaper within a month of the draw date.
  • The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The Winners will need to attend the Just Cuts Salon where they purchased their Style Cuts™ Cut to collect their prize and present their original receipt used to enter.
  • The first valid entry drawn from each salon (please note that there are 152 salons participating) will each win an Easter Hamper valued at AUD$150.99. The Easter Hamper consists of:

  • If for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize by 1 July 2010, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and a redraw will take place at 12.01 am on 2 July 2010 at T-Bone Productions, Studio 402, 45 Lime Street King Street Warf Sydney NSW 2000.
  • If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion (and subject to relevant state authority approval) reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
  • Total prize pool valued at approximately AUD$23,000.
  • Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable, unless otherwise specified.
  • When you submit any materials via the Promotion including comments, recordings and images (“Content”), the entrant, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. The entrant agrees not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use. The entrant warrants that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
  • Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  • If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  • Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  • The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking of a prize.
  • The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  • The Entrants acknowledge that some or all of the contents contained in the prize may contain nuts or contain traces of nuts, may not be gluten free and may contain any other allergy causing ingredient. It is the Entrants sole responsibility to satisfy his or herself and make his or her own enquiries in relation to the ingredients contained in the contents of the Prize (as listed in clause 13 above). The Promoter or any of its related entities or agencies will not be liable in any way whatsoever in relation to any loss or damage however caused in relation to this Promotion including any allergic reactions or health issues caused from the ingredients contained in the contents of the Prize.
  • The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
